Nacho de Miguel

Nacho de Miguel is Head of Alternative Fuels & Sustainability at Peninsula.

He has more than 25 years of experience in the energy business. He started in the industry as Bunker Trader at the Spanish oil company CEPSA, moving then to the role of Fuels and Distillates Manager for Power Generation business at Union Fenosa (now integrated in Naturgy). In 2004 he joined Union Fenosa Gas where he held successive positions that included Head of LNG shipping, Head of natural gas and LNG contracts and Director for Business Development.

In 2020 he moved to Peninsula to be responsible for leading the Company’s Sustainability strategy and its transition to cleaner fuels, with special focus in creating and managing Peninsula’s LNG bunkering business.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business Administration from the University Complutense of Madrid; a Master in Energy Business from CEE and has a Diploma in Business Administration from IESE business school.
